Common MetaTrader Login Issues

If you have not logged in successfully, there should be an error message appearing in the bottom right corner at the connection status icon. Alternatively, you can check the error message in the 'Journal' tab.

Error message: "Authorisation failed" or "Invalid account" 

Reason: Error in login details

Solution:

• Double-Check Credentials: Ensure you are entering the correct Trading account ID, password, and server information. These details are case-sensitive.
• Try to reset the Password: If you have forgotten your password.
• Copy and paste: Make sure you do not copy-paste any additional symbols in the Login or Password field. Try manually typing.
• Verify if you are using the correct server according to your trading account type.

Error message: "No Connection"

Reason: Incorrect server address

Solution:

• To check your trading account type, log in to Alpari Profile> Profile >Accounts. Click on the trading account to see more details
